When we start to tell a story in the Catalan tradition, we say: “Heus aquí
una vegada…” Once upon a time there was a place where people and nature
worked together. There was a land where the Greeks planted seeds (“llavors”
in our language) of a long history. There were the soils (“sòls” in Catalan)
from which the vines and olive trees grew. Here, tradition and the search
for authenticity go hand in hand. This is how, with spirit and enthusiasm,
the image takes colour and breaks through the darkness. Quite simply, this
is *lavinyeta. The end.

La vinyeta, a vineyard full of people

Josep Serra is leading La Vinyeta, he is the oldest son of the Serra Pla family, who are entrepreneurs from the Empordà region, placed in the heart of the Costa Brava. Josep Serra, graduated in Environment Science and Agronomist is the owner, oenologist and vine grower of this project. A small part. A gear piece. But there are a lot of the people collaborating with their efforts in order that La Vinyeta follows up its route. Enthusiastic and full of passion. Sommeliers, restaurateurs, oenologists and designers… Friends who want to feel proud of the things they are doing. Because La Vinyeta is made by the people.
