Fosc* olive oil
A 100% Argudell secret
In 2003 we recovered the magical, centuries-old olive grove known as the Olivar Fosc (the “Dark Grove”), a plantation of olive trees of the Argudell variety – autochthonous to the Empordà – that earned its name from the fact that, until its recovery, no sunlight entered it. Recollections and laughter live on in the memory of the old people from the village of Mollet de Peralada, who still remember how they played hide-and-seek there. The extra virgin oil made from its olives has an intense green colour due to early harvesting. Intense, fruity aromas of fresh-cut grass. A pleasant, spicy taste in the mouth and an interesting bitterness. A small homage to small pleasures.
