In the past, a strange character occasionally wandered around the wineries. He would open his briefcase and, like an alchemist, would begin to fiddle with potion and test tubes. He was called the Chemist. Today, this figure is more familiar and can be found in winery but he is now known as the oenologist.
The Microvins are monovarietal wines from old vines —some of them over one hundred years old—, indigenous grape varieties and parcels with extreme typicality. All Microvins are small volumes of wine with great character, which have been obtained experiencing with the elaboration processes in controlled conditions and recovering ancient techniques.
