Jay Miller in the Empordà
9 février 2011

The prescriber Jay Miller has visited the Empordà Wine Region and has tasted the wines from La Vinyeta cellar argued by his owner Josep Serra. Throughout 25 years Jay Miller has been collaborating with Robert Parker tasting Spanish wines for one of the most important wine magazines, The Wine Advocate. He was greatly surprised about the quality of the Empordà wines and also emphasized the excellent quality-price ratio of  the wines from La Vinyeta.

Last Sunday October 4th 2009 Josep Serra, enologist and owner of La Vinyeta winery, and his brother Lluís Serra, graphic designer, look for the complicity between different wines and parts of the stories, exploring how sensory experiences and extrasensory experiences are related, inside the program for the second edition of the Fiesta del Grafismo, celebrated in Portbou.
It is at the table. In a romantic dinner with your partner. In a family lunch where the grandfather explains again that anecdote when he was still living in the country house. In an informal business meeting at the bar in the corner at the end of the street. In a full breakfast with knife and fork with that friend that you haven’t seen for a long time. Wine creates an ideal scenario to generate stories. This talk-tasting, was a liven up exchange of tales thanks to the presence of the wine, that make then flow at the same time that are surround by feelings.
